Dr. Lawrence and Carol Brecker founded Recreative Art Center as an extension of Dermatology Clinic Ltd. Their joy in seeing healthy, active adults making vital contributions to the well-being of youth led to its creation. Dr. Brecker is a practicing dermatologist in Phoenix for over thirty years. He specializes in skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment. He is an avid photographer and dance student. Carol Brecker is retired from careers in social service, adult education, and project management. She is a proponent of volunteerism, yoga, music, gardening, and Ikebana floral arrangement. Michelle Pemberton, Program Coordinator and Dance Instructor, has fifteen years experience teaching social and competitive dance at studios, school programs, and Community Colleges.
