| Volunteers often benefit as much and more than the people they serve. Relationships built when mentoring and providing role models for young people who are experiencing difficult challenges is very rewarding. Recreative Art Center develops partnerships with organizations that serve youth in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Regularly scheduled activities with professional instructors and caring adult volunteers provide welcome fun for youth in after school programs, group homes and behavior health and substance abuse facilities.
